Because its made of Lanolin. Pure, natural, organic golden lanolin. A sustainable, renewable marvel from Australia’s free-roaming sheep, that cares for all skin types and dramas. A cruelty-free ingredient so damn good it didn’t even need a co-star to win the skincare Oscars.

HOW TO USE IT:

As usage instructions go, our products tend to break the rules. Put it wherever you like. Seriously. As long as it’s on the outside (OK, enough information). Use with abandon, sprinkle like confetti, it is the master of multitaskers. 

Apply day or night onto any dry, sore, sensitive skin, or anywhere needing a pop of intense hydration and gleam. Swipe it onto lips, cuticles, knuckles, and nipples.  Wind-chapped hands or brittle hair. Baby’s bottoms or Gary’s groin. You’re welcome.

WHY IS IT CALLED NIPPLE BALM?

Our founder Pontine Paus created our hero balm after discovering the magic of Nipple Balms used in breastfeeding. She took on the world, and the rest is history! We say that If it’s good enough for your nipples, it’s good enough for all other bits!

WHAT'S THE SCENT?

The Original Nipple Balm hasn't any scent at all and we haven't added any fragrances and flavours. Not. A. Single. One. Most fragrances contain allergens. We wanted all of our products to be irritant-free, so you can embrace being 100% natural and kindto your skin (and the planet) when you're using your Nipple Balm.

BIOPLASTIC TUBES

We switched to Bio Plastic tubes made from Sugarcane in 2022 as part of our initiative to get to net ZERO emissions by 2025. Ideally, we would be using compostable tubes but sadly technology is not there for tubes yet. So until then we’ve committed to only using Bioplastic for all our tubes. The great thing about Bio plastic is that it is made from a renewable source which is sugarcane which actually captures carbon from the atmosphere into the ground. As opposed to plastic made from fossil fuels which does the opposite. Bioplastic is a little more expensive, but we think it’s worth it.

PCR CAPS

All our caps are made from 65% post-consumer recycled plastic. 65% is the maximum amount of PCR we could use whilst keeping the stability and integrity of the caps, which need to be harder and more stable than the tubes.

If you’re reading these reviews to try and decide whether or not to buy this lip balm... just do it! It’s the best lip balm/lip treatment I’ve ever owned. My lips were always cracking and dry, especially in the cooler months... since using it my lips are beautiful! So soft, plump and full of moisture! Those sheep know what’s up!

I have been using this lip balm for years now and it is by far one of the best lip balms on the market it quench’s lips on the first application leaving them plump, moisturised and this feeling lasts all day if not longer. I love applying a generous amount at night and waking up with soft lips.
