Can you tell us about the chosen look? What was the inspiration for it?
The inspiration for this look was colour. I wanted to create something that exudes power, luxe and art. The ima ge was part of a campaign shoot I did to show that modest fashion is not a barrier for creativity, and in actual fact it can work as a tool hence why i picked vivid coloured materials for the visuals to really pop.
Yes, we looove the pop of colours – what products did you use to create the look?
I used liquid lipstick on the eyes for a dramatic swipe of colour.
Any tips for anyone at home wanting to recreate a similar look?
Just play around with the eyes using lipsticks, and shadows to recreate the striking eye look.
Can you talk us through the day of the shoot?
It was the best vibe! Honestly one of the best days of summer 2018. I’m blessed that the team I had around understood my vision and were super professional. We shot at the beach and after we wrapped we all jumped into the sea!

Neutral glowy glam

Something creative, maybe a writer?

Justine Skye, I’m so obsessed with her, she is perfect and our makeup style is super similar
Do you have any career highlights so far?
My ain’t no token campaign, getting a 4 page spread in black beauty magazine was amazing for me!
What is an average day in the life like for you?
There’s no average, everyday is different for me!
What do you do in your downtime?
When I get the chance to read, and also catching up on sleep!
What is the best piece of beauty advice you ever received and what is the best piece you could give?
The best I ever received is from my makeup father Sam Fine…

The best advice I can give is, have fun with your makeup kit, break the rules, experiment, that’s how you will find your style. Don’t feel like you have to achieve a certain look to fit in!
