Can you tell us about the chosen look? What was the inspiration for it?
I wanted to create an effortless summery/glowing healthy skin look on the beautiful Julie that would be easy to re-create at home for all women.
What products did you use to create the look?
The hero products where the skin prep – which included some luxe Chanel eye patches for under eye hydration and dr.lipp original nipple balm to moisturize her lips. Eyes was the makeup by Mario eyeshadow palette which I loved! Cheeks were a lip/cheek stain by Chanel in a beautiful coral colour to really make it fresh and summery!
Any tips for anyone at home wanting to recreate a similar look?
Focus on your skin prep – everything is elevated when your skin looks healthy and fresh. I opted to not add a liner to this look so people trying to recreate at home wouldn’t be scared off as eyeliner can be one of those things!
What would you say your signature beauty look is?
Since moving to the UK everyone says its “Australian glowing and natural” so I might go with something along those lines. I hope to always make all my clients feel the best version of yourself – like when you just get back from a holiday.

Absolutely – especially for my personal kit…its tiny and the only products that aren’t is mascara! Most the products I have purchased this year are the multi-use lip/cheek/eye products on the market – 3 in 1’s are my kind of makeup!
What would you be doing if you were not a makeup artist?
Before I was a makeup artist I was an accountant, so definitely not that (haha!) I really love anything beauty and skincare so maybe a brow specialist – everything is better when my brows are freshly done.
What items should everyone have in their kit?
Brow gel and a multi-use product like a blush/eye/cheek/highlighter. Also can’t forget some mascara!
Who is your dream client?
All my clients are dream clients but I do love Hayley Bieber‘ beauty vibes.
Do you have any career highlights so far?
I love how I get to travel to such remote beautiful destinations I never would have known about if I didn’t have this job.

What is a day in the life like for you?
Honestly every day is different depending on who I have in my diary. But almost every day is an early morning wake up and getting ready to straight out the door because I always prepack my kit the night before (any extra minute sleep is a win in my eyes) My makeup application is done in the UBER on my way to work while facetiming my family in Australia. Once I get to work it feels like 5 minutes between 7am and 11am – that’s usually when it’s my time to create and do my part. I love staying on set and being part of the team on set. If I only have the one client I head home otherwise onto another client who usually has an evening event which is nice because the makeup application is always a little different to my on set look. Night time is downtime /Netflix or something easy to watch and early night after I clean my brushes and repack my kit for the next day.
What is the best piece of beauty advice you ever received and what is the best piece you could give?
Best advice I got was from my mum when I was younger to always invest in a good eye cream! My advice is make sure you feel like the best version of yourself and you will feel amazing – never try look like someone else.
What are your favourite uses for your fave Dr.Lipp product?
How you can use tints for eyes, lips and cheeks – great for summer and also good for your skin – I gift them to my clients all the time because I love mine so much!
