To start off, when did you first discover that you had psychic abilities?
I was really young, around 5 or 6 years old when I first became aware of my psychic abilities. I could see energies, get loads of intuition and messages, my dreams would come true and I would astral travel. I could always pick up on energy around people since I was a little girl.
What does it mean to be a natural clairvoyant?
A natural clairvoyant means you’re born with an ability – you can learn to do it or be born with it. I was born with it and have always been able to connect with the other side.
There are several different ways or methods of performing readings, such as Tarot Cards, Psychometry etc. Tell us
about your favourite method(s).
I like using Tarot cards. I love Tarot card readings and clairvoyant readings with people who have crossed over to connect them
with their loved ones still on earth. I use the connection with a person by holding a tool to connect in a different way like a ring
or a photo. This makes the client feel a lot more comfortable. They like a tool so they feel more connected to the reading.
As a clairvoyant you can predict things that will happen in the future. Have your experiences with this always been positive?
Sometimes it’s tough when people want a lot of information and sometimes what comes through is not always what they want to hear. When you connect to the spirit world it’s really amazing. So no, it has not always been positive.
How do you think being a psychic has enhanced your life?
I love working with people and helping to guide them and give them direction. I feel this is something I was meant to do. It’s truly
rewarding to give people guidance and help them to believe in themselves. I also like the healing aspect of being a psychic as well.
Is there a way for non-psychics to get in touch with their intuition without consulting a medium? Are there any “at-home methods” if you will?
Learning to breathe is really important so you can connect with
your inner self and tap into your intuition. Listen to your inner voice. Your gut never lets you down. Meditation is also important. Mindful breathing. Taking slow, deep breaths and focusing on your breathing. Download meditation CDs and take deep breaths while listening to them and relaxing. At home you can also take a nice warm bath, close your eyes and get into that space to connect to spirit.
What is it that inspired you to start Psychic Sisters?
It was fate that started Psychic Sisters, not me. I was out having
lunch with a friend and went to Selfridges to collect something. We were sitting in Selfridges having tea and I did a reading for my friend with my tarot cards. I had the tarot cards out on the table and a guy came up and asked me what I was doing so I explained it to him. He offered me this amazing opportunity to offer readings at Selfridges and that’s how Psychic Sisters began. Three months later we were in the store. Selfridges asked me. I didn’t ask them and 11 ½ years later here we still are.
You have referred to your practice as
a true sisterhood. Have you ever considered expanding Psychic Sisters or is it important to you that your company stays close knit?
I would definitely like to do more in America. Especially in LA since I have so many clients there and I love California.
You have established such an amazing reputation as a psychic. How would you describe your journey in getting to this point in your life?
It’s been an amazing journey. Very enlightening with lots of hard work and determination. Luckily I have a really good team that gives me lots of support. I always use my intuition when hiring people for Psychic Sisters and most have been with me for a long time. Most have been
with me for 7 or 8 years. Women empowering women.
You work with all kinds of people, from A-listers like Kim Kardashian to normal everyday people. Do you ever get star-struck by your celebrity clients?
No – to be fair I don’t know who most of them are to begin with. It’s just who she is I don’t change to them and I’m just myself. They respect that more.
What is your favourite part about being a psychic?
Because of my line of work I get to travel a lot and I love the extensive travelling. I also enjoy meeting different people from all walks of life. There are people we meet and mix with that I would never get the chance to meet were it not for what I do.
What was your initial reaction when you were presented with an all-natural nipple balm for your lips?
At the beginning I thought it was funny and weird but once I tried Dr.Lipp it went on really smoothly and worked on my dry lips. It really sinks into the skin. I had purchased Elizabeth Arden’s 8 Hour Cream in the past on a recommendation and didn’t like it. I find Dr.Lipp works a lot better.
In addition to being a psychic, you are also an established author. One of your books, My Psychic Stories goes into detail about some of your personal experiences. Why did you decide to start writing books?
I had many offers over the years to write a book but it never felt like the right fit at the time so I never did it. I met Liz Dean, who is in publishing, and we got on so well that I went with my gut and knew it was the right time to write the book. Liz and I hit it off from the get-go and have become good friends. I think many
people have pre-conceived notions about psychics that I wanted to set straight through my story. It’s not about ripping people off and taking money. The stories in my book are about people that have come through my life and my personal journey. It’s not all beautiful and glamour but it is fulfilling.
Finally, what advice do you have for women looking to turn their skills or abilities, whatever they may be, into a successful career?
I would tell them to always have self-belief and confidence. When someone tells you: “you can’t do it” turn around and say “yes. I can do it.” Live life the way you want your life to be. It’s important to take action and empower each other. Network with other women. Support other women. There is enough for all of us in business. There is abundance for each of us to be successful in our own right. Ask yourself, “What can we do to grow as a team?” Look at how you can use your energy. I’ve worked with Annie Lennox before and she’s a great example of a woman empowering and inspiring other women. Same with Tina Turner. She might be the only celebrity I would get star struck by if I meet her.
